History of Swat Valley

The history of Swat valley goes back to around 2000 years ago. It was known as Udyana and later the name was changed to Suvastu. The valley was a very peaceful area for living until the 11th century.
Swat Valley is known as the “mini Switzerland”. Its landscapes are a proof of natural beauty and it was one of the most visited areas and had a major tourism industry. There were events which led to the downfall of the tourism which was one of the major sources of income of the Swats economy. The conflicts between the Taliban and the Pakistani army have effected the valleys attractions. The whole conflict started in 1990s when Sufi Muhammad, a cleric figure tried to impose the sharia law on the people of swat valley. In 2007, his son in law tried to follow his foot step by imposing the religion with strength of arms. The Pakistan army took control of the situation and in 2008 the war of Swat was put to an end. Another factor that also contributed in diminishing the tourism industry include the floods in 2010 in which most of the infrastructure was destroyed including the roads and bridges leading to difficulties in traveling to Swat valley.

Journey To Pura Tanah Lot, Bali Indonesia

Pura Tanah Lot, Bali

The 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐚 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐡 𝐋𝐨𝐭 temple is a temple on a rock formation off the Indonesian island of Bali and is one of the most beautiful temple from Bali.
𝘛𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘩 𝘓𝘰𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴 "𝘓𝘢𝘯𝘥 (𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦) 𝘚𝘦𝘢" 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘶𝘢𝘨𝘦.

Tanah Lot Bali is called a Bali Temple because it looks like floating in the sea when high tide, also sunset time is the best view to be enjoyed when visiting this one of the most visited tourist attractions in Bali.

Tanah Lot is one of Bali's most iconic temples. Its spectacular seaside setting on a rocky islet surrounded by crashing waves is amazing!
Besides it has a wonderful view, Pura Tanah Lot has so many interesting things starts from the myth and the story behind the temple
Pura Tanah Lot ("land in the middle of the sea") is a wonderful temple located on a rocky reef off the coast. At low tide the temple can be reached on foot. But it is always quite crowded, which results in great motives for street photography
One of the biggest tourist attractions in Bali is a visit to the Pura Tanah Lot temple during sunset.
The temple is in the sea during high tide and can be visited during low tide.
The name Tanah Lot means "Land in the Sea" in the Balinese language.

Toli Pir, Pakistan ( Explore the beauty )

Toli Pir, Pakistan
Toli Pir is the highest mountainous location in the northeastern part of Rawalakot, it is the spot of origin of three diverse mountain ridges. The tourist rest house on the way to Toli Pir is also
located in a picturesque site. There are some remains of an aged tomb on the top.

An artificial lake at an altitude of 1981 meters, a man-made land because of its beautiful and amazing views and fabulous garden, is very famous tourist spot with lively trees and colorful flowers.
Facilitated with swings and slides the spot is an attraction for kids as well. Banjosa Lake is surrounded by mountains and lush green garden abundant with flowers and trees, this is a very beautiful small lake.
Ganga Peak, more commonly known as Ganga Choti among locals is located in the Bagh district of Azad Kashmir. It is also visible from Bagh city and is often called as the Crown of Bagh. Ganga Choti is
approachable from Sudhan Gali, Dist Bagh, through a 4-5 hours steep trek. Since its winter so whole trek will be veiled under a layer of snow. Ganga Choti is a scenic peak in Bagh District, Azad Kashmir,
Pakistan. It is 10200 feet (3045 meters) high.

Its a marvelous place and feels like really you are on top of the world. The way to this place from Rawalakot, is not well paved, its a single road and lot of curves and blind curves. But the way to this place is lush green as well. My suggestion to anyone who doesn't have experience for driving cars in such places is; rent a car with local driver who knows the roads and area well, specially if have to come back at night late. But all types of car including sedans can easily reach there. I would suggest not to only stay in the area close to road rather go until top by walk and then you will see the place is surrounded by clouds, like in heaven. The best time to go to this place is summers as in winters it will be covered in snow. A nice place for hiking and Bar.B.Q. A safe place for children as well except few places, close to mountain edge. Simply I can say, if you are nature lover and want breathe fresh air, this is the perfect place for you away from city hassle and pollution.
